Ethnolink Summit Returns to Melbourne this August

by Rachael Adams

We’re excited to announce that the Ethnolink Summit is returning to Melbourne on Wednesday 27 August 2025.

This national event brings together leading minds in communications, engagement, and marketing — all working towards one goal: helping strengthen the way we engage with Australia’s diverse communities.

The Summit was created to support those working in government, not-for-profits, academia, and community services — particularly where the work involves connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.

Why this is important:

Inclusive communication has become a core part of how services are delivered and how information is shared in Australia. But this space is constantly evolving. The Ethnolink Summit offers a space to explore how multicultural communications can be more effective, more meaningful, and better supported across different sectors.

What to expect:

Over the course of the day, participants will hear from more than a dozen speakers, sharing case studies, research, and strategies drawn from real-world experience.

  • The future of AI and translation
  • Designing inclusive health visuals for women from multicultural backgrounds
  • Supporting translators from the ground up
  • Creating culturally appropriate video content — and much more

“The list of speakers and agenda is continuously updated as more speakers and topics are confirmed. The most current version is available on our website.”

About the Summit:

First launched in 2023, the Summit was created to bring together communications, marketing, and engagement professionals from across government, not-for-profits, academia, and beyond — all with a shared goal: to meaningfully connect with multicultural audiences.

With past events held in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Perth, the Summit has quickly grown into Australia’s flagship gathering for multicultural communications — offering real case studies, practical tools, and honest conversations.

The Summit reflects Ethnolink’s mission: to empower organisations to authentically engage with culturally and linguistically diverse communities through insight-driven, community-led communications.

As a certified social enterprise and trusted partner to over 500 organisations nationwide, we’re proud to host a space where the future of inclusive communication takes centre stage.
