Join Rachael Adams, Head of Multicultural Communications at Ethnolink, Monica Greenwood, a researcher with over 25 years of experience, and Somaieh Ebrahimi, a social researcher and academic tutor at RMIT University, for a practical session designed to demystify multicultural research. Rachael Adams

Rachael Adams is the Head of Multicultural Communications at Ethnolink, as well as a NAATI-Certified Translator and member of The Research Society. She leads multicultural research, strategy, and campaign delivery for government and not-for-profit clients across Australia, overseeing projects that span behavioural insights, audience segmentation, message testing, and co-design. With extensive experience managing complex, large-scale public sector communication campaigns, Rachael brings deep expertise in intercultural communication and evidence-based approaches to engaging multicultural communities.

Monica Greenwood

Monica Greenwood

Monica has over 25 years’ experience working in  communications research, deploying a range of methodological research approaches to tackle different communications challenges. She is a full member of The Research Society, is certified as a Qualified Professional Research (QPR) and a member of the Engagement Institute. She has a keen understanding of the challenges in researching multicultural audiences and the nuances required to ensure the voices of diverse communities, including First Nations people, are accurately represented.

Somaieh Ebrahimi

Somaieh Ebrahimi

Somaieh is a highly motivated social researcher and academic tutor with a PhD in Urban Sociology from RMIT University, Social Equity Research Centre. Somaieh is passionate about equity and social justice and being a voice for multicultural communities. Somaieh’s PhD research focused on culturally diverse migrants’ experiences of social connections and inclusion and the sense of place in Melbourne. Somaieh is also a member of the Engagement Institute and has certificates in Essentials of Engagement and Apply Engagement Methods.
