As an Australian, to obtain a Polish Passport, you must first confirm your citizenship of the respective country. Ordinarily, your citizenship is confirmed through your ancestry, however you will need to prove to the officials that you are indeed eligible to confirm your citizenship. Once you obtain citizenship of your respective country, you can simply apply for a passport, in the same manner you would as an Australian Citizen applying for an Australian Passport.

One of the greatest benefits of obtaining a Polish Passport is that you can also retain your Australian Citizenship – in effect, dual citizenship. This gives you, as a citizen of a country that is a member of the European Union, the same rights as any other citizen of the EU. You can work, study and live in Europe as any other ordinary EU citizen would.
