The Tetum language is the official language of East Timor. It is spoken on the island of Timor, in Belu Regency in Indonesian West Timor, and across the border in East Timor, where it is one of the two official languages.
There are two main forms of Tetum: Tetum Terik, which is a more indigenous form, and Tetum/n Prasa or Tetum/n Dili which is the Tetum-based creole language which developed in the capital of Dili. These variants are not mutually intelligible because they did not come into contact for many years.
You can send us your documents in whatever format you have - a PDF, Word file, scan, or a photo. As long as the text is readable and clear, our professional translators can translate it for you. But before that happens, our Account Managers will analyse them and provide you with a personalised quote. If you have any specific requirements, let us know and we will do our absolute best to accommodate.
