Persian is the official language of Iran. Persian is also known as Farsi, and has a number of standard varieties, including Dari.
Persian is spoken in a number of Middle Eastern countries including Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Iraq and Uzbekistan. It is estimated that there are 110 million speakers of Persian worldwide.
Persian is written from right to left using the Persian alphabet, which is a variation of the Arabic alphabet.
There are also ways of writing Persian with the Latin alphabet, which is a transliteration of Persian into Latin. Talk to our Translation Strategy team about these variations to find out what you need for your project.
You can send us your documents in whatever format you have - a PDF, Word file, scan, or a photo. As long as the text is readable and clear, our professional translators can translate it for you. But before that happens, our Translation Strategists will analyse them and provide you with a personalised quote.
If you have any specific requirements, let us know and we will do our absolute best to accommodate.
