Our Work

The challenge

Often, health-related topics can be difficult to broach — especially topics such as incontinence, which tends to be surrounded in stigma.

CFA approached Ethnolink because they needed a team that understands how to engage culturally and linguistically diverse Australians respectfully and appropriately.

The solution

Ethnolink has had years of experience working closely with multicultural communities. We worked closely with Punchy Digital Media to develop multilingual videos that contained a cast of characters who were represented the diversity of Australian communities.

Additionally, our team closely reviewed CFA's video script for cultural appropriateness. This was especially important because incontinence can be a highly sensitive topic for many cultures. To convey CFA's information that was helpful and effective, Ethnolink made suggestions to the video script and on-screen text in each of the 10 languages.

The results

Our project with the CFA is proudly hosted on the CFA website, which contains information about incontinence in 30 languages. Ethnolink was also excited to hear that the videos received highly positive feedback from the community and the CFA team!
