Born and raised in Polignano a Mare, Italy, Giulio has always had a passion for translating languages and cultures. One of his favourite quotes is from "Found in Translation" by Nataly Kelly and Jost Zetzsche: ‘So, are translators and interpreters making the world a more beautiful place? We suppose so, depending on your definition of beauty.’

Upon entering university, Giulio completed a Bachelor of Translation and Intercultural Studies (English & German) in the city of Pescara. He moved to Australia on a gap year after graduating but decided to extend his stay and pursue a Master of Interpreting and Translation Studies at Monash University.

Since graduating, Giulio has become a highly-qualified NAATI-credentialed Italian translator — all while making waves as an Ethnolink Account Manager. He believes that through translation, he can bridge cultural and linguistic gaps, ensuring that no one is left behind.
